We leave from the Palazzo Ducale: a city within a city, with fifteen of courtyards and gardens, a theatre, a museum and the Prince's sumptuous apartments. Over the course of this visit to the capital within the capital, participants can admire the frescoes by Mantegna or indeed the rich collection of Greek and Roman statues. The palace overlooks Piazza Sordello, which, for over a decade, has served as the symbol and frame of reference for national and international Vespa events.

Palazzo Te, dominion of the Gonzaga family. IT would perhaps be more be appropriate to call this building a "villa"; situated outside of the old city walls, this is a place of recreation, commissioned by Federico II Gonzaga to impress guests including the Emperor Carlo V.
The building is the first creation of Giulio Romano, successor of Raffaello, and every detail has been minutely observed. Today, it houses important themed exhibitions.

The San Pietro cathedral, better known simply as the "Duomo", embodies more than any other structure the history and the evolution of the city, with its varied and diverse styles. From the Gothic flank of the building to the cycle of frescoes on the transepts, via paintings from the 6th century in the sacristy - the cathedral is a true feast for the eyes.
But the Sant’Andrea basilica is of particular international prominence. Works by Correggio, Juvara, Canova and many others frame the "relic": an area of earth soaked in the blood of Jesus Christ.
